In an alternate 1997, across the abandoned outposts and fractured broadcasts of a forgotten California, something stirs—a signal half-sung, half-remembered—drawing together an unlikely trio: Roger, the mute bus driver bound for a past he can’t recall; IG-88, a battered gaming drone steered by an unseen hand; and Raymond, a private investigator haunted by a woman he can’t forget. Together, they set out on a road trip through a landscape shaped not by geography but by emotion. What they remember will guide them. What they forget may define them. This is a road trip across memory and meaning. Every step writes a story. The question is—whose?
